Before you leave the building today, please consider these energy saving tips sent to us by the Parkway Sustainability Committee...
Lower and close the window blinds – this acts as an insulator against the cold air against the glass.
Unplug small electronics (phone chargers, electric pencil sharpeners, clock radios, etc.)
Empty, unplug and leave open the small, personal type refrigerators. Make sure a catch pan of some type is used to collect melted frost. If not possible, turn to lowest setting.
Turn off all lighting - including accent lighting.
Turn all computers, printers and copiers off.
Close all vestibule doors.
Also, please remember that all computers should be turned off every night before you go home. This is a great job for students at the end of the day.
