How to restore the vertical toolbar in Microsoft Word 2010:
- Click on file tab and then choose options (second from the bottom)
- Click on Advanced on the left side of the Word Options window
- Near the bottom half of the page …Check the box next to “show vertical scroll bar” in the section titled Display
- Click on OK at the bottom of the page before closing out. This will save the new setting.
- Open a Word doc to see if you have restored the vertical scroll bar.
